Hyde Park Corner end of Constitution Hill, London The Memorial Gates, designed by architects Liam O’Connor and Amrish Patel, commemorates the five million men and women from Africa, the Caribbean and the Indian subcontinent who served in the First and Second World Wars. Noor-un-Nisa Inayat Khan is commemorated in the memorial pavilion along with fellow George Cross recipients. The Memorial was unveiled by Her Majesty The Queen, on 6 November 2002.
